Windows Phone collage maker app Tap Collage wants users to take photos of winter fashion in countries around the world and use the Tap Collage app to post a collage for mobile and web users to see. The submitted winter fashion collages can be browsed in the mobile app using the Discover Others Collages feature or by visiting the online collage maker version of Tap Collage.
The app has already been used to make collages of baby moments, hair fashion and scenery. Windows Phone app maker SpiveyWorks says, "We made Tap Collage so that people can combine several photos into one memorable and sharable image. We sponsor these themes like winter fashion because it is fun to see what different people post from all over the world."
To contribute a collage people are asked to download the Tap Collage Windows Phone app from the Windows Phone Marketplace. The photo collage app is available as a free trial to save pictures locally or a paid version gives access to more collage templates and the ability to upload collages. After opening the app users can login using Facebook. Then, swipe to the right and select a template. Individual image placeholders can be tapped to insert your photo into the montage. Press and hold on a picture to gain access to fine grain controls to rotate or resize the image. Otherwise, users can press and drag the picture around to place it just right or pinch to scale the image. At the end users press on the upload button on the Windows Phone app bar, give the collage a title and it will appear on the website and in the app's Discover Other Collages section.
