Will Apple Bring HBO GO to the Apple TV? Sources Say ... YES!

Great news for Apple TV users, as Bloomberg News reports that Apple is currently in negotiations to start carrying HBO Go as soon as mid-2013.

Bloomberg reports that "Cable and satellite subscribers who pay for HBO will be able to watch more than 600 hours of films and television shows on Apple TV, said the people, who asked not to be identified because the talks are private."

HBO GO draws on a vast library of around 1,000 hours of HBO Original programs including series, films and other special programming such as documentaries, entertainment specials, family content and stand-up comedy. Exciting lineup of programs include the latest seasons of award-winning and critically acclaimed series, GAME OF THRONES, GIRLS, TRUE BLOOD and VEEP. Popular series such as BAND OF BROTHERS, THE PACIFIC and THE NEWSROOM will also be available. Subscribers will be able to select what they want to watch on the device of their choice, giving more control to the viewer.

Apple TV users can already choose from an incredible selection of programming including over 15,000 movies and over 90,000 TV episodes on the iTunes Store. Apple TV also offers great content from Netflix's streaming catalog, live sports from MLB, NBA and NHL as well as Internet content from Vimeo, YouTube and Flickr.*

With iCloud, you can buy movies and TV shows on Apple TV and watch them on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac or PC. iCloud also stores photos and pushes them wirelessly to all your devices including your HD TV via Apple TV.
