Webcast Alert: IBM and RainStor to Optimize Big Data on Hadoop

RainStor, provider of a database for Big Data that consistently delivers 90 percent cost savings, will host a live webcast featuring Bruce Weed, program director of Big Data Business Development at IBM, and Ramon Chen, vice president of product management at RainStor, on Thursday, Feb. 21, at 11 a.m. PT/2 p.m. ET.

The live webcast will review enterprise challenges around Big Data, specifically as it relates to rolling out a Hadoop-based platform for efficient data management. About the Presenters
Bruce Weed is the program director of Big Data Business Development Worldwide for the Information Management brand of the IBM Software Group. Bruce has extensive experience in business development, sales and marketing. Additional skills and experience lie in product and brand management, operational strategy, IT strategy and software development.

Ramon Chen is the vice president of product management at RainStor. Ramon has been developing, marketing and selling enterprise tools, applications and databases for more than 20+ years. His current technical areas of interest and expertise include Big Data, Hadoop and cloud computing.
