The Joy Factory Debuts aXtion Line of Rugged, Waterproof Cases for iPad and iPhone & Universal Tablet Mounts

The Joy Factory, Inc. today unveiled a suite of digital companion products to complement today's popular smart devices, including the Apple iPad and smart tablets at the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) taking place January 8-11, 2013 in Las Vegas. The Joy Factory is showcasing an enhanced product series featuring aXtion, a rugged and protective case line for the iPhone 5, iPad and iPad mini along with Unite, carbon fiber mounting systems that allow users to stay active and engaged with their smart devices in their daily lives.

The Joy Factory is debuting the next generation of rugged specialty products and mounts at booth no. 3402 in the iLounge including:

aXtion pro Rugged, Waterproof Case for iPad/iPad mini & iPhone 5 -- Building on the company's success of the company's waterproof cases for iOS devices, The Joy Factory has incorporated advanced waterproof and shockproof technology to protect the iPad, iPad mini and iPhone 5 in the most challenging environments. The case meets the highest qualification of IP68 waterproof standard, meaning that it can withstand continuous submersion in water. The durable case also meets the standard of military grade shockproof MIL-STD-810, helping to protect the iPad/iPhone 5 from accidental drops and guard against hazards in the harshest conditions for those that hit the slopes or work at hazardous construction sites.

All buttons on the iPad are fully accessible, creating new opportunities to transform the device into an underwater camera. The headphone jack is also accessible for waterproof headphones, allowing users to easily listen to music without having to remove the tablet from the case.

Should the iPad take an accidental fall into water, the aXtion pro case will float to the surface for easy retrieval. An optional floating accessory is available to add to the aXtion pro iPhone 5 case.

The aXtion Pro will be available in Q1-2013, starting at the MSRP of $149.95 for the iPad, $129.95 for iPad mini and $79.95 for the iPhone 5.

The aXtion pro includes a full line of accessories sold separately. Such accessories allow the iPad to be leveraged as a 'go anywhere' device and include: Heavy Duty Carrying Handle; Heavy Duty Shoulder Strap; MagConnect Adaptor -- compatible with The Joy Factory's carbon fiber mount line; Standard Headphone Adaptor; and Multi-Angle Stand.
