TableCard, a Smartphone App, Launches in Los Angeles, Allowing Users to Check-In and Receive Discounts at Their Favorite LA Restaurants

TableCard, a new mobile application offering Los Angeles smart phone users discounts every time they check-in, today announced their launch in the growing Los Angeles tech scene. TableCard is a platform that provides users with standing discounts at nearby restaurants. Restaurant owners promote these discounts on the TableCard app that consumers can access at no cost. TableCard currently has over 400 restaurants signed up to the platform, offering an average of 20% off at all times.

"We're excited to launch TableCard to the ever expanding Los Angeles food and technology scene," said Ari Afshar, co-founder of TableCard. "Los Angeles has become one of the nation's leading restaurant and food destinations, and we're happy to bring LA diners a useful technology, affording them significant discounts every time they dine at their favorite LA eateries, and check-in using the TableCard app."

TableCard's major advantage is its ability to offer a user standing discounts at all participating restaurants. Users can enjoy the same discounts again and again at no cost to them. There is no planning or pre-purchase required, TableCard adapts to the user's existing dining habits.

TableCard is donating 1% of all revenue to local Los Angeles food banks, and aims to donate 250,000 meals by April 2014. Consumers & TableCard restaurant partners will help contribute in achieving this goal.

Notable Los Angeles restaurants that are TableCard partners, include: Chaya (Venice, Beverly Hills, Downtown), Café Med, Pace, Magnolia, Ca Brea, Geisha House, Off Vine, and many more.

TableCard currently has plans to launch in other major U.S. markets like New York and Chicago at the end of 2013.
