Samsung Electronics Introduces The Galaxy Note 8.0

Samsung Canada, the leading supplier of mobile phones in the Canadian marketplace, today announced the launch of the world's first 8-inch tablet, the GALAXY Note 8.0. Unveiled at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, the GALAXY Note 8.0 ushers in a new era of intelligent Note technology in the mid-size tablet category. Featuring unrivalled multimedia performance within a compact one-hand-grip screen, the GALAXY Note 8.0 creates a sophisticated mobile experience.

Noteworthy features of the GALAXY Note 8.0 include: Multi-window options to split the portable 8-inch screen allowing optimal access to a number of live applications; a new generation of Samsung's intelligent S Pen with advanced usability; access to a suite of S Note templates and tools that allow consumers to create, edit, manage and share everyday documents; and the Samsung "reading mode" technology that allows consumers to enjoy e-books with optimized resolution. This customized version of Flipboard has been developed exclusively for Samsung and uses the S Pen's hover feature to preview article headers beneath Flipboard's main screen tiles.
