MYTF1VOD, TF1's Video on Demand Service, Partners with SyncTV to Create Dedicated OTT Channel for its Gaming and Media Platform

SyncTV, the leader in delivering television services to the largest set of Internet connected TVs, mobile platforms, and other media-enabled devices, today announced a partnership with MYTF1VOD, the video on demand service of TF1, the largest privately-owned television broadcasting network in France. Through this partnership, SyncTV will develop the first over-the-top (OTT) service for MYTF1VOD's gaming and media platform.

MYTF1VOD will use SyncTV's platform to instantly reach millions of viewers through a dedicated application on MYTF1VOD's platform. A sample of MYTF1VOD's premium content offerings include premium VOD TV series, brand new movies as well as a broad and diverse movie library, youth programs and comedy stand up shows. The MYTF1VOD channel will include movies and series from the US, France, and other countries.

According to Tristan Du Laz, TF1 VIDEO deputy chief executive officer, "Our partnership with SyncTV enables us to offer the whole range of MYTF1VOD premium contents to those who receive entertainment content via gaming console users in France, which number slightly more than 2 million potential customers, in a highly qualitative and innovative way."

"The opportunity to partner with France's largest domestic broadcasting network and its leading transactional VOD platform is significant to the evolution of OTT in France," said John Gildred, chief technology officer at SyncTV. "TF1 and other traditional broadcasters are looking to strengthen content offerings as consumers continue to migrate toward online television services and premium pay-TV."
