TechCrunch was the first to report today that Hearst's entire library of digtal publications including Harper's Bazaar, Seventeen, Esquire, Food & Drink, Cosmopolitan, O The Oprah Magazine, Good Housekeeping, and a slew of others will now be available FIRST on Apple's popular newsstand.
The new newsstand page notes that "subscribe to these Newsstand magazines and read them on your iPad before they appear in print or any other digital edition."
Here's hoping that other publishers follow suit. Tech Crunch also notes that "Late last year, analytics firm App Annie found that Newsstand revenue in general had quadrupled since its launch" - which is NOT a surprise.
