Former Vice President Al Gore will keynote Excellence in Government, the premier federal management event on May 13th - 14th in Washington, D.C., announced the event's producer Government Executive Media Group.
As Vice President, Gore spearheaded the Clinton Administration's National Partnership for Reinventing Government, a taskforce designed to reform the management of the federal government. Vice President Gore will return to the Excellence in Government stage to mark the 20 th anniversary of the reinventing government movement and share his thoughts on the next generation of government reform.
This May, Excellence in Government will gather over 600 federal agency leaders and key stakeholders to address how to improve the efficiency, performance and accountability of government. Due to heightened audience interest, Excellence in Government is expanding to a 2-day event that will take place at the Ronald Reagan Building in Washington, D.C. While registration opens in early March, over 900 people (80% federal managers) have already signed up to receive event updates at www.ExcellenceInGov.com.
The 2013 event program will feature a mix of high impact keynotes and deep-dive sessions delivering expert insights, innovative solutions, and case studies all designed specifically to address the key issues identified by federal managers as their most pressing priorities for 2013, including:
