Evite Unveils Specially Designed Oscar Party Invites

Oscar party hosts can now bring home the excitement and energy of the Academy Awards with online invitations from The Oscar Collection by Marc Friedland, available exclusively on Evite Postmark (www.postmark.com) through Oscar Sunday, February 24, 2013.

Marc Friedland, the designer of the Academy Award winners' envelope and invitations for all 2013 Oscar events, is the Creative Director of Marc Friedland Couture Communications (www.marcfriedlandinc.com) and Chief Style Director for Evite Postmark. The Oscar Collection by Marc Friedland is the only online invitation collection officially sanctioned by the Academy Awards. The collection is free to use, and is available for a limited time.

The Oscar Collection by Marc Friedland has something for everyone, from classic golden age of Hollywood to modern, fun takes on Oscar as well. Each invitation in the collection has a matching designed envelope, custom stamp, and features the Oscar statuette, use of Academy archival photos and images. Friedland's Oscar party tips and other viewing-party activities - including a set of downloadable Oscar Bingo cards will also be available on postmark.com and oscar.com.

Two years ago Friedland introduced the first-ever envelopes and announcement cards bearing the names of the winners for the telecast. It was the first time the Academy had a specially designed envelope and card to announce the Oscar recipients. Friedland will be recreating them again for this year. He also produced all Oscar event invitations for the Academy for the first time this year.
