EnGenius Technologies Launches New Powerline Media Adapters & Bridges

EnGenius Technologies, Inc., the leader in long-range Wireless-N networking solutions for homes and businesses, today announced the launch of its family of Powerline media adapters and bridges. The new family of Powerline Adapter Kits, which seamlessly complement the company's growing portfolio of next-generation wireless networking solutions for the home, will debut this week at ShowStoppers @ CES on Jan. 8, 2013, from 6 to 10 p.m. in the Wynn Hotel's Lafite Ballroom.

EnGenius' new family of 500Mbps Powerline Media Adapter Kits are designed to provide the home audio/visual enthusiast with a high-speed plug-and-play solution to connect home entertainment devices, gaming consoles or computers to the network providing a fast connection to the Internet for media streaming and other bandwidth-intensive applications.

EnGenius' Powerline Media Adapter Kits provide 128-bit AES encryption and feature a one-touch "Push-and-Secure" function to easily establish a secure connection. Compatible with Homeplug AV adapters, the EnGenius adapters also incorporate an energy-saving feature that automatically powers down the units when they're not in use.

The EnGenius Powerline Adapter Kits are comprised of the following products:

EPL500 Powerline 500 Adapter - Features one 10/100 Ethernet port;
EPL550G Powerline 500 Adapter with Gigabit - Features one Gigabit Ethernet port;
EPA3520 Powerline Wireless N300 AP - Features an integrated Wireless-N access point and one 10/100 Ethernet port;
ETA3005 Powerline 500 5-Port Wireless N300 Media Bridge - Features an integrated 300 Mbps Wireless-N access point (2.4GHz) and a five-port 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet switch.
