Cloud Cruiser Launches 2.1 Enterprise Edition for Public, Private & Hybrid Clouds

Cloud Cruiser today announced the release of their 2.1 Enterprise Edition, representing the broadest support for industry-leading private and public cloud platforms and securing the company's position as the premier IT financial management solution for the hybrid cloud.

With its 2.1 offering, Cloud Cruiser now supports Cisco Intelligent Automation for Cloud, VMware vCloud Director, System Center 2012 SP1, HP Cloud Service Automation 3.1, 3Par, Aptare, and the new API and Tagging feature of Amazon Web Services. These offerings are in addition to their existing portfolio of cloud solutions which include HP CloudSystem, OpenStack, VMware vCenter, and other industry-standard hypervisors, databases, and applications.

Hybrid cloud adoption is expected to reach 50% by 2016, increasing the urgency for cost management in what is inherently a diverse and complex environment. Additionally, the role of the IT organization is shifting into that of a service provider, which is driving the need for new capabilities to understand, control, and charge for IT usage and spending in private and public cloud environments.
