AT&T Rebrands U-verse Live TV as Mobile TV

Smart move for AT&T, because if you're like me, you never really understood what "U-verse Live TV" was. Something called 'Mobile TV' though - you get instantly. The next question is would you pay $9.99 a month for it?

Previously called AT&T U-verse Live TV, Mobile TV is available now to most AT&T smartphone customers*. The name change is one of several we've made to provide you with an improved customer experience. Additional changes include:

Enhanced picture quality when you're watching on 4G LTE.
All subscribers will now have their Mobile TV subscription conveniently billed directly to their AT&T account.
The price is $9.99 a month, regardless of the type of smartphone you use.

Three specialty add-on packages are now available to all Mobile TV subscribers for $4.99. Urban Zone Pack features programming from BET. Playground TV Pack has shows that appeal to kids. Paquete en Español móvil has programming available from popular Hispanic networks.
